I have heard of candy buffets (actually only on the DIS) but had NO IDEA they could be so pretty and elegant. Hmmm, 2 1/2 years and I would have the excuse to put one out for a sweet 16 for DD

DH and I got married in Disney and had a reception when we came home. We had a small candy buffet table but nothing as elaborate as the pictures here. But any chance for candy is a good time for me!

These are all gorgeous. Especially like the graduation one because it was real life.

But, quick question - with all this candy, don't you run the risk of having all your guests groaning and holding their tummies after awhile?

I don't know if I could resist temptation on trying everything.

Candy tables are so 2009 now

Actually here in NY where I run a large hotel and catering facility, they were big last year, but not so much in 2010.

We do about 100 wedding a year at my place and this years big hit..

Mash potatoe bar.. Yeah go figure..

It is funny seeing all the brides doing the same thing for about a year and the switch to whatever the hot trend it. Times change, but people don't

The sweet 16's still do the candy though.

I saw that on one of the wedding shows on TLC. Cool idea but not everyone likes potatoes..... They were served in a martini glass on the show I saw.
