Is anyone doing candy bars as favors? Do you have a template that you are using? I'm not too sure how to go about this DIY project.

I took a few more minutes and made a blank template. Hope this is what you were looking for

We did candy bars for favors. It was just easier for us to pay to have the wrappers professionally done. We found a website that made them. We put them on the candy bars ourselves. It didn't take much... just some time and double-sided tape. I would recommend them... plus they had a castle and it went perfectly with our theme. They had lots of others though. Check them out.

Good luck!! :)

We made candy bar wrappers, I used ivory card stock and a glue stick. They were great for the kids...

Here is the template

Check invitationsbydawn.com and search for Disney candy wrappers...they have a cute Mickey & Minnie one - It's about $60 for 50 wrappers, I think.....

I know I have seen a lot of them on ebay. They will personalize the wrappers for you and you put them on the candy. The only problem I have had is trying to find the hershey's bars. They used to make them with the inner silver layer and the label that you could remove from the outside. Unfortunately I haven't seen those hardly anywhere. They're all seeming to switch to a plastic wrapper now. Any luck anyone?

Thanks ladies... They really weren't hard to make at all. In fact, I had a good time doing them...:)

Sorry it took me so long to respond - you know how it is when you have 23 5 year olds yelling at you "Can we go outside YET????" when they get back from resource....:lmao:

To answer your question - I printed them out on a 5(w) X 7(l) card. It was the best size....

Hope this helps!

Hiya, dznystar!

My dad actually happens to work for Hershey (I am from just outside the actual town of Hershey PA) so I will work on finding where you can get these. I believe I may have seen some at Chocolate World (the enormous candy store in Hershey). I am heading home this weekend for more wedding detail stuff and will see if they still have them....

(I personally hate the new plastic wrappers..)
