We are coming from Australia on Sun 31st oct YAY!!!! We will be going to MNSSHP on the 1st (halloween) :wizard: Can't wait!! I was wondering what kind of candy (or what we call lollies) you get at MNSSHP. I have never had American chocolate and would be interested to know what the chocolate you get at MNSSHP are like. I have heard of one called butterfinger...what is that??? Thanks for answering my question!!

we got all kinds of candy at the party. smarties(sweet/tart). nowandlater(chewy), milky way(chocolate/caramel~yum), a lot of chocolate and white chocolate. all very yummy! you will like butterfinger. it has nothing to do w/butter. crunchy inside and chocolate on the outside. most were either fun size(small)or bite size. you will get a lot of candy! i am sure i left out a lot more of what we got, but it is the "good stuff." have a great time! :earboy2:

hello rach! Your other half here.....we're going to mnsshp on the 31st not the 1st! Halloween night is the 31st! :earboy2:

We were there last week. We got a TON of candy. We got Twix bars, butterfingers, milky way, 3 musketeers, and snickers for chocolate items. (Basically chocolate with different fillings like caramel, nuts, nougat etc.) We also got laffy taffy, smarties, toosie rolls, and other types of chewy candy. You will find something you'll like, promise!

in Tomorrow Land were VERY cheap with their candy. Just one or 2 pieces a person (even kids!) and something small like the mini-Tootsie rolls. Later and at other sites, they were much more generous with all kinds including my favorite, M & Ms! We also got a great candy bar that I had never had, Take 5. It was chocolate, pretzels, peanuts, peanut butter and caramel. AWESOME!!!!!!! Was was a dissapointment from what I read from remarks about last year's MNSSHP and from earlier ones this year was the cheap, generic and plain BAD candy they give out during the parade. Don't even bother! All and all, we loved MNSSHP.

If you like candy and want to try a wide variety, I would love to recomend you visit Goofy's Candy Co. in Downtown Disney. It is incredible! We got the custom dipped/designed candy apple (a caramel apple dipped in milk chocolate, rolled in pecans and than drizzled in white chocolate. AWESOME!!!

Have a great time and welcome to the States!

American Candy is sweeter than European candy. After cutting out junk food from my diet, I now can not eat more than a bite of our candy now. I'm sure you will enjoy yourself. I would also recommend Goofy's in DTD for a wider (and better) selection of sweets.

A butterfinger is a dense peanut butter flavored crisp covered in milk chocolate. Not my fav but other people like them. 3 Musketeers is like a Flyte bar only sweeter. Milky Way (milk chocolate, nougat and caramel) is very good. Snickers is the same thing only flavor the nougat with peanut flavor and add some choped peanuts to the caramel). Twix is a bickie topped with caramel and covered in milk chocolate.

We got TONS of candy (consult the park map - it shows all the Trick or Treat locations). They were also giving out candy at the start and finish of the parades. Small chocolates; taffy (yumm - Banana Laffy Taffy), lollipops, the aforementioned Butterfingers. All good stuff. And on the 20th at the exit they were literally shoverling candy into the bags.

Too bad we left the kids at home :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
