Candy apples

I need to pick up a couple of candy apples to take home - which place has the best selection - magic kingdom or downtown Disney ?

I think they both have about the same selection. For the convenience I'd got with DTD

I would go with the Downtown Disney location as they always seems to get in the more unique apples first.

Had a wierd experience at the candy cauldron in DTD- I wanted to take the candy apples home to Tampa. The cm didn't want to give me containers. She said they wouldn't help anyway.. I basically had to put my foot down and demand the boxes. We had no plans to eat them there as we had just finished a huge lunch and 2 of them were gifts for others. She gave us the boxes and of course, the apples survived the grueling 1 1/2 hour drive home. Strange huh?
