Candlelight question

We will be taking our first trip to WDW in December. I am planning to try for a CP package on Dec. 5 at Garden Grill. Does anyone know if the characters will be there as normal or do they do things differently during CP time?

I would assume it will be normal...as many of the people eating there will not be doing the CP...especially since they charge 2TS credits for it....but that's another thread
