Can anyone tell me if this is a good thing to take my 5 yr. old DD and 2.5 yr. old DS to or will they not even be intrested? My DW wanted to do the dinner package. Is it worth it?

We've been, and it's a wonderful program, but your kids are a little young, especially the 2.5 yr old. For them, its kind of like sitting in church for 2 hours.

I did it last year with my 6 year old DD and we loved it and the Dining package, but I was rather upset at how long the line was for the package people (WAY past Moroco) and we felt like we didn't get very good seats (way off to the side with a partially obstructed view because of a tree). I think that if we had to do it again we would definately just stand and watch from outside the pavillion area like a lot of people did. It's not like there is a lot of "action" to see. Just IMHO

I took my DD's who were 6 and 4 two years ago and it wasn't a problem for them to sit. It was late, we just ate, they were tired, so sitting snuggled into Mom and Dad wasn't a problem.

We went this past Dec, when they were 7 and 5 and took the nieces and nephew, 6, 4, and 2 and it didn't work. It was way too long for them to sit. My DD's have been to Disney often so weren't worked up but it seemed really long and boring for them.

I would just take the time to walk by and watch for as long as the kids will tolerate. That way your wife can hear some of it. It's really beautiful, but yet you won't be strapped in the money and the seats. Even with the vouchers, you have to wait in line at least an hour or so before, unless you want to be way at the back of the voucher line and then you get the "leftover" seats.
