Does anyone know when the dinner packages are available for purchase for the Candlelight Processional? 90 days out?

Do you go through Dining for the reservations? Does the reservation require a credit card hold?

Thanks very much in advance for any info. :D

They usually come out at the end of August. All dates are available at the same time, they don't go by 90 days. They set aside so many tables for the packages at each restaurant, so making a regular PS can not be later turned into a package res.

They actually charge your credit card when you make the reservation, it's not just a hold. You can cancel up to 48 hours prior to the performance and get a full refund. You go through the regular dining number.

Is well worth the dollars and ditto the information DebbieB gave you.::yes:: :wave2:

Thanks for the replies!!

Does WDW announce their availability on their website? Or is it announced on this web site?

Do you know if the reservations are hard to come by; i.e. is this one of those situations where you have to start calling immediately on the day they become available?

Thanks again! :D

You'll hear about it first from these boards, people will start calling daily and when they come out, you'll see a long thread! Disney does post it on their website, but usually not right away.

If you want Christmas Eve, it's a good idea to jump on it right away. Dates early in the month usually don't sellout, some people make reservations same day. Weekends go faster than weeknights.

You should have your strategy ready for when they come out. The shows are 5:00, 6:45 & 8:15. You can have dinner either before or after. I've done it both ways and prefer dinner after. Last year we did the 6:45 show and 8:00 LeCellier, worked perfect.

Thanks for all the good advice, Debbie!! That's where I want to make reservations -- Le Cellier.

My husband may be in a wheelchair by then. Is the wait very long?

Thanks,
-Gabrielle :D

The dates usually come out, prior to the announcement of the narrators.

Debbie, we did the 6:45 and LeCellier last year too. Unfortunately dinner was long and we were not out on time to see Illuminations. Other years it worked out fine and we were able to see Illuminations.

Rita Moreno was great.

It is one of our favorite things to do at Disney.:D

Rita Moreno is always great!

My wife and I will be at WDW in early December, and we a hoping that she will be the narrator when we're there.

We went this past year during our NYE trip on the last day scheduled for CP. It was not very packed, I got the ressies easy, AND we were lucky to see Gary Sinise!! He was incredible!

AND we were lucky to see Gary Sinise

You're so lucky. I would DIE to see him. Ok, maybe not die, but something close to it! :p
