We have reservations to go to Epcot the day after Thanksgiving because we wanted to see the Candlelight Processional. Our 60 day mark was last Friday. We did our best to get dining reservations, but all four restaurants that have been in the Candlelight Processional Dining Package before were completely booked up (even at 6:00 in the morning that day). Is there any way to be able to see the Candlelight Processional (not just listen to it), without having the Dining Package and without standing in line for it all day long? Any tips you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I'm only in Disney Tuesday through Friday that week, and really want to see as much of the Christmas decor and festivities as possible.

There is plenty of places to stand behind the seating area, but other than that, you would have to wait in the line, with no guarantee that you get in. Depending on the narrator, line size varies. If you get in line mid afternoon, you are pretty much sure to get into one of the shows.

I had started a thread on this a while back, as we have a trip scheduled for December 2 for 8 nights, crossing over three days with friends who want to see CP and we are hoping to do a dining package. Every time I've called Disney or online chatted with a cast member regarding our upcoming reservation details, I've always asked about the CP dining packages. Same response each time, "we haven't been told anything yet". Very frustrating as we want to make other dining reservations too, and those might have to change depending on when/if we can get a CP dining package.

To the best of my knowledge, the only thing Disney has acknowledged officially is the dates, no list of narrators have been issued and obviously, no listing of participating CP dining packages.

I assume that just because you book a regular dining reservation in EPCOT, that there is no guarantee that you can switch it to CP dining if that restaurant became available as part of a special CP dining package. Very hard to understand the delay with releasing packages this year.

I totally understand your frustration. I want to go Dec.1 (alternative is Dec.6) I want to do the dining package one day and Space 220 the other. UGH. Disney expects us to do all this planning yet they don't don't give us much to work with.

Candlelight Processional Dining package ... "Beginning October 6, 2022, you can secure your spot for this limited-time experience by booking online. Advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days prior to your visit."

Is that 60 days prior to our check-in date like regular dining or 60 days from the CP night we want to attend? It's our first time there for this.

This is amazing, thank you so much for the information.

Dinner Packages

I just can't decide which one to choose! I'm a little tired of Rose and Crown and Garden Grill, Le Cellier is more than I want to spend, my husband doesn't care for Biergarten, and I haven't heard good things about Coral Reef. BBQ - just ok? Spice Road - maybe?

I'm hoping to do it on 12/14 - it's my birthday and I love Gloria Estefan!

I had to reschedule today's trip thanks to Ian LOL but it's ok, am now going in December. I am excited to see CP on Dec 7. I will be solo with the dining package. Just wanted to throw this out there in case any other solo's want to join me. Not decided on the restaurant but maybe Biergarten. That's the only one I have never tried!

I would just like to say i am jealous of all of you who will get to see Simu Liu and Raul Esparza…..I lost my damn mind (in a good way) when I saw their names
