Has anyone done this before? I have got it booked for our Christmas trip, but I'm having second thoughts. On the one hand I think its silly to go at Christmas and not do everything possible, as we probably won't have a winter trip again. On the other hand I think its quite a lot to pay (We have booked the meal package. I know we could do it for free, but I don't want to time queeing on what is only an 8 day trip) for a meal I'm not especially looking forward to (Garden Grill) and a load of carols that I probably won't know the words too!!

Anyone been before who enjoyed it / thinks its a waste of money?

Thanks!!:goodvibes

This is one show that is worth the money you pay for the meal and the seating. It is not full of carols it is the Christmas story told by a narrator, a huge choir and full orchestra. We are locals and go every year. If you do not get the meal package there is no guarantee that you will get a seat at the show and I can guarantee that if you do not book the meal you will wait for hours on line for a chance to get in the show.

I suggest you have a look on youtube as I was looking forward to the candlelight prcessional and then i had a sneek peek at it on youtube and it was not what I was thinking at all !!
At least if u watch a few minutes on Youtube you can make a decison based on you personally as I know many love this event !

I really enjoyed it and so did all my family, we took them the day before our wedding as a gift.

I have been attending this event for the past 10 years and it what I look forward most to see during the year at WDW. What impresses me the most is the musical ability of mostly high school students in the choir along with the profressional musicians. My goal this year is to see all of the narrators on the schedule. I enjoy the CP that much.

Absolutely love the Carol Concert. It's one of those things that gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. Have been lucky to attend on many occasions over the years and will do so this year as well.

Just heard the line up and would love to go to the ones done by either Brad Garrett or Corbin Bernsen :)
