I was thinking of trying to get a package for the candlelight Processional. If I get the dinner package for the Coral Reef/LeCellier...what does that include? Is that price just to get perferred seating or does that include the actual dinner? Do you get to chose a dessert? I know nothing about this so I apologize if my question sounds silly

Also....if the show starts at 6:45 or 8:15....what time would they schedule dinner?
How long is the candlelight processional? If the show is at 8:15pm?

The package includes the price of dinner and the seating at CP.

Each package can be different, but there is a choice of food.

Good luck on getting ressies for the package. You didn't state when you would be there. I tried three different days during the 12/8-12/14 period and nothing was available. I was able to get Chefs de France but w/o the CP package. (This was two weeks ago when I called to make ADR's.)

Oh wow...... can you see CP by standing or walking by? Is it worth going crazy to get reservations?

We (2 of us) will be going to LeCellier with the candlelight processional package on 12/19....our ressie is for 2:20, and the show starts at 5:00p. Good luck trying to get reservations, just about everything was sold out....we were VERY limited on offered times.

Yes. Not always very well, but yes.

"going crazy?"
No.

"worth getting reservations?"
Yes. Definitely.

Thanks ....I just called the reservation # and got a 2:10 lunch at the LeCellier for the CP package...showing at 5:00pm. What doesn;t make sense it that when I look at the seating and prices....LeCellier seems to be $41.99 for lunch but the guy quoted me $27.99....I don;t get that?

Also....is there a special menu for lunch or what if I wanted to order something that is over the price we were quoted...can we just pay for that?

This is much easier than you're making it.
You will have options for the meals, and you can do just about anything that you choose, above and beyond.

Try to relax. Its Disney.
Le Cellier is GREAT at lunch, just great!

Getting the ressies is the hard part.
The food and the show will be very enjoyable.

Have a great trip!

:thumbsup2

LOL......I know you are so right...when I know nothing about stuff I tend to stress about it..hahahaha....thanks for all your help ;)

Hi again! We had the lunch CP package at LeCellier this past December. It was the best meal of our trip. I don't really remember all the mechanics of it, but we had plenty to eat and the CP was definitely worth the trouble of getting reservations. You will still need to get into a line at CP, but the seats are good. If it's chilly out you will be glad to be at the 5:00 pm show before the sun goes down!

Have fun.

The dinner package includes an appetizer, meal, dessert & non-alcoholic drink, as well as gratuity (unless it changed from previous years) if it is paid for separately (instead of using a ts credit). This also includes a ticket to a specific show time & date. There are 2 lines to enter the performance. One side is for dinner packages and the other is a stand by line. They changed the way they did the packages last year so that you have to dine prior to your scheduled performance. If you go to the 5pm show, you will dine at lunch time. If you go to the 2nd performance, it will be a late lunch to a very early dinner. If you go to the last performance, you will probably dine around 5-6pm. The most popular place to dine, especially with the CP dinner packages is Le Cellier. I had to try 5 times to get the date and time I wanted and to dine there. Food is great. Saw John O'Hurley last year and he was fantastic!! Really could tell he wanted to be there and enjoyed every minute of it.

I was told you could use a TS credit, Terk-1, are you saying you weren't able too?

Thanks for the details. I dined once at LeCellier and loved it. I usually get the filet mignon and am worried that won't be apart of the lunch (it is on their lunch menu but don;t know if that is included on the package lunch deal)

Which tier is considered Tier 1, 2 and 3?

[RANT ON] We used to love the CP, but when they closed off close to half of the theatre for those on the package and snubbed the regulars it really turned me off. We still go, but miss the equal opportunity seating for everyone that was available for those of us willing to wait and not just bribe Disney by buying an overpriced meal for those first 10 or 25 reserved rows.

Just another nail in Walt's Disney Concept IMHO  [RANT OFF]

I will probably call them back to verify cuz I was thinking the same thing. I don;t care to pay the $41.99 but now he has me worried that maybe he got the wrong restaurant.

I currently have CP package at Le Cellier for 12/8 at lunch for me, the kids and my mother in law. Now, dh and his dad are thinking of going on the trip with us. There is no availability for 2 more people on our ressie and I've checked the days around that date and nothing there either. They do have Biergarten, Morrocco, Japan available on one of the other days but I'm sure they aren't anywhere near as great as Le Cellier. I'm not sure I'm going to let dh go if it means changing all my ressies. LOL
