We've been to Disney a few times around Christmas but never ran into this event. This year we are going down December 27-January 8. I have a few questions if anyone would be willing to answer I would greatly appreciate it!

What are the dates of this event?
What time is it at?
Isn't there a dining package for it? Is this for any Epcot restaruant?
If you don't get the dining package, how far in advance do you have to get there to get a seat? Does it fill to capacity?

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info...very helpful!

It said if you are doing the dinner package you should get there 45 minutes before the show starts. However it also says if you are not doing the package you need to line up 45 minutes early as well. What is the point of doing the package if you still have to get there 45 minutes early? It seems like you would do the package to ensure that you could get there a little later and still have a seat...

The people with the dinner package get reserved seating I believe - more in the front/middle.

We did this a couple of trips ago and loved it; however, they seem to sell the theater almost to capacity with the package. We got there maybe 30 min early, and still got a seat, but there were only about 3 rows left behind us, and we were off to one of the sides. I'm not sure many, if any, of the non-package people even got a seat. I was a little disappointed with this system--maybe they should advertise the package as including "seating" instead of "preferred seating."

It's absolutely worth doing, though. Just heed their advice and get there early.

It is in your best interest IF you have a desire to see the show to be there with ticket and at least 30-45 minutes early. I am also understanding that you can get the package with the dining plan....if that helps.

So if I don't get the package I am risking not getting a seat at all even if I get there 45 minutes early? Yikes! How far in advance can I book the dining package?

Bump. Anyone know when I can reserve the package?

It's probably the same 180 day window as any ADR.

The CP is an awesome event! Very Christmassy, the music was wonderful.

The year we went the center section was reserved for those with the dinning option. When we arrived about 30 minutes ahead, the rest of the theater was packed like sardines, but we got very good seats.

Be sure to check the celebrity list to see who is narrating before you make your ADR... depending on your dates you may have a choice of two or three different celebs to choose from.

Nope, not 180 days, sometime in August. The CM could not be any more specific than that. I am sooooo nervous about this b/c I want LeCellier, and with its popularity, I am scared we won't get it. Hope this helps!
