Candlelight Processional

Here is a real shocker. This was posted in the DIS Restaurant Forum :confused3 I called today to make dining reservations for my trip at the end of November/beginning of December. The CM I spoke to said the the tickets will go on sale on Tuesday August 15th, they are having alot of people coming in to handle the calls...but there are some major changes in the dining. If you book for the early show, your dining time will be 1:45-2:45, if you book the 6:45 show your dining time will be 3:30 to 4:30 and if you book the 8:15 show your dining time will be 5:00 to 6:00. I did not think to ask if the price will be different for the 1:45-2:45 dining since this is lunch time not dinner.
I know each of us speak to a CM and get different info, so I am just passing this along with a grain of salt.
:furious: I certainly hope that this is not true. :worried:

I really hope they don't force these times on you, as those are a little ridiculous. We are getting married at the Sea Breeze Point at 2pm and then planning to attend the CP, so none of these times would really work for us. Hopefully this CM was incorrect.

I just called again and the CM I talked to had no specific date and no other information. This is so specific so I'm not sure what to think about it. How can a dinner package be during the day?

I was told by a CM to make my dinner reservation now and then call for the CP package when it is announced. There is a better chance you will get the package if you have the dinner reservation already.

She did not mention those out of control times though. And this was just one CM who could have been saying anything, but if I can't get my package deal, I can still try the old fasioned way of waiting in line and then going to dinner afterwards. Would have liked to go to the 5:00 show and dinner at 6:30 at the Coral Reef. We'll see.

Regular ADRs are not suppose to be allowed to be converted.

You are right. If they allowed people to do this, it would not be fair. I do not see them allowing this.

I got so excitd when I saw the narrator's list was out. I was at work this morning, and scarred my other co-worker to death cause I started to dance

So....then, I look at my dates....and guess who is speaking when I'm there?!?!?!?!?!!? TO BE ANNOUNCED!!!!! Woo HOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Now I've never heard of To Be, but I'm hoping that Mr. Announced is good. Has anyone listened to Mr. To Be Announced? Or is it Miss To Be Annouced?!!?!?! :confused3

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it!!!!!!!!

:rolleyes1

For the most part until that post, it was confirmed by other CMs and I called Guest Relations that regular ADRs could not be converted.

He is one of the most celebrated Contemporary Christian Singer out today. He sings soft rock type of music. Or what we would call easy listening.

Thanks mom2t&e!
I'm off of work on the 15th so that means I can get up early and start calling. :surfweb:

I received the same information....the early showing required you to eat at those early times...and she quoted lunch prices & dinner prices. But who know...every day seems to be a different answer :confused3

I am not surpirised Phil Donahue is not on the list this year - hope he is not one of the "to be announced"...saw him last year and wished I had picked a different speaker.... I did thoroughly enjoy he sign language interpreter thoug - he was AWESOME!!!!!!!

I called again today and the only info the CM had was a "tentative" booking date of August 15th.

Looks like we'll all be up really early that morning!! I just hope the show times aren't true as we were hoping to go to the 6:45 CP and have dinner at Le Cellier afterwards so we aren't rushed through dinner. But I guess if we have to we can have the 5-6pm dinner and do CP at 8:15...

Maybe they'll bring John Stamos back. He was really good last year - my DD12 is a big Full House fan, so we had to go. (He did not say "Haaave mercy" even once!) :goodvibes

Your kidding, a CM give me wrong information. Say it is not so. Well I can cancel it if I get my Package. After thinking about the times mentioned above, we could handle a lunch and then go to the 5:00. I am also looking to see the To Be announced narrator.

I havd 8:15pm ADRs for Le Cellier for 11/24. If I can get a better time with the CP I'll give up the ADRs. But for right now...I am holding onto them tightly! I had a hard enough time getting them.

That doesn't make much sense. I'm sure many locals come in to have dinner & see the show, they aren't going to want to eat in the middle of the afternoon, especially during the week.

Multiple layers of fun for you December guests.......

First off, I too found this posted on another board earlier today.....
