Hi everyone,

With all the X-mas talk, I guess I need to start thinking about our first trip in Dec! I am traveling with 3 children, 1 will only be two years old. Is it possible for us to see the Candlelight Processional and then catch Illuminations in the same night? Thanks!

I can't remember the exact times, but they have 2 showings each night. One is early enough that you could go to it and still see Illuminations.

Have fun planning.

If I were to book the 6:45 pm show - would we make it to Illuminations?

The show is about 40 minutes long so you'd be leaving the show about 7:30p so that should be plenty of time to find a spot for Illuminations.

Illuminations is always at 9:30 pm during the holiday season so that everyone can get a spot to see it after all the Candelight Processionals have ended that day.

Would you reccommend doing the 5:00 show and then dinner or doing dinner between 5-5:30 (probably at Le Celler) and then the 6:45 show?

Alot depends on when you like to eat and maybe if you have kids.

I like to eat around 4:30p and then see the 6:45p show.

If I had older kids I probably see one of the two earlier shows and then eat afterwards but that would be too late for them now; maybe when they're teenagers.

I think 5:30p is too late to eat before the 6:45p show. You need time to get seated, eat and then time to walk to the show and get to the show a little early if you want a decent seat. And even with the package, there is usually a line that forms. Around 4:30p is a better meal time for the 6:45p show.

If you did the 5:00p show, I wouldn't make an ADR till at least 6:30p. The show is 45 minutes long and then you need time to walk to the restaurant.

We(myself an dd6) did the 6:45 show and our ADR's at Rose & Crown were for like 4:00pm or maybe 4:30. When I booked the package last year the CM made it seem like there wasn't really a choice of when you got to eat. So we just didn't eat alot for lunch. Even with your badge you still had to line up to get in and by the time we finished dinner(and we skipped dessert) the line for the package people stretched all the way to Japan when we got in it and we didn't get there last minute. We stood for a bit but we got in and got a good seat. It was VERY beautiful. If we ever go at holiday time again it is a must do. :thumbsup2
