We're going in December and think it sounds neat, but we'd have to arrange at night around it, and I'm wondering if its worth it. Does it matter who the narrator is? Anyone in particular you'd look for?

Thanks

We like it.

Some of the narrators are very popular.

We loved it. Don't remember what else we did, but remember the CP.

I felt it lived up to its hype. I suggest doing the dinner package just to get a seat though.

Love it! If you like Christmas Carols and the Christmas Story, you love it too. I'd reccomend the dinner package also.

Are you taking kids? My DD's were younger and didn't enjoy it. If you look around there is a higher adult/kid ratio than the parks in general.

Probably one of the best things of our Christmas trip. We went with the dinner pkg.:thumbsup2

Here is the list so far for this year.

Nov. 26-28: Isabella Rossellini

Nov. 29-Dec. 1: TBA

Dec. 2-4: Frank Langella

Dec. 5-6: TBA

Dec. 7-9: Jodi Benson

Dec. 10-11: Whoopi Goldberg

Dec. 12-15: Steven Curtis Chapman

Dec. 16-18: Thomas Gibson

Dec. 19-21: Trace Adkins

Dec. 22-23: Brad Garrett

Dec. 24-27: TBA

Dec. 28-30: Marlee Matlin with interpreter Jack Jason

This must be from a previous year because the CP doesn't start until after Thanksgiving, which this year means November 28.

Just did some googling and this appears to be a tentative list from 2010.

I highly recommend it. We saw SCC and he was great. Trace Adkins is supposed to be the best. Neil Patrick Harris will likely be one of the first two TBAs and that is then they will film the parade for the TV show.

This is at EPCOT and not part of the Christmas Party at the MK. The dates don't line up exactly, so make sure you get to do both.

Orlando Sentinel posted this yesterday.

Well, then either they posted an old list by mistake (and I found this exact list on a thread here on DISboards from 2010), or the CP is starting the day before Thanksgiving instead of the day after Thanksgiving like it always has.

Orlando Sentinel posted this yesterday.

That list is from 2010, it gets thrown around every year on CP threads. Here is last year's thread with the same info being posted.

The 2014 list hasn't been released yet.

deleted my post.

Anyone know when the dinner packages will be available for reservation? I've heard July. I'd rather not wait on hold for 30 minutes to find out they are not available yet. Can't reserve online yet for my dates 12/4-12/8

Last year it was July 9 and I think we found out that date about a week before.

I'm excited to see the WDW version of this this year. The DLR one is magical with the hundreds of people coming down main street with their candles and performing in front of the train station in town square. Obviously this will be very different so I'm excited to see how they compare.

We saw it over at DL just trying to get through main street a couple of years ago. Being that I'm not of that religion, for me it was just a headache trying to navigate the crowds (it was a nightmare on main st). And goodness were there crowds. I'm sure it's great for christian folks, but be prepared to be packed in like a sardine from what I've seen and heard.
