Candlelight Processional without dining ressies?

Has anyone ever attended the Processional without dining ressies? How long is the line and is it always filled with those with reservations? This year it is two table entitlements so I am contemplating waiting in line.

I'm hoping for the same thing... Wondering what the stand-by line is like without a dining res.
I was hoping to go to a 5:00pm performance and then doing a regular 1TS ADR at Teppan or Tutto after the show.
I don't want my family stading in line for an hour only to find out we can get in though

I'm with you. We're hoping for a 5:00 performance too, since we have a 6:45 at Akershus, which pretty much shuts us out of the next two.

I'd guess that this year fewer people will be doing the package with it being two TS.

Yes - I have done it several times - HOWEVER - never with free dining. The last two years I have booked a CP at LC because I did the dining plan and it was one TS credit. Now that it's 2, we won't be doing the package for the first part of our trip with my sister's family and we plan to wait in line. I would forget about the weekends as the Floridians (who know a good deal when they see it) pack the park for CP. Try the show mid-week and the line forms to the right of the theater (facing the lake) for non-ticket holders and it is often all the way to Italy with plenty of weaving. We have gotten into the show after waiting 45 mins from that point with seats to spare but again that was mid-week and NO FREE DINING. Here's hoping we get in or I can at least book a package for the second part of my trip. Since the second part of my trip is a seperate ressie # I have to wait for my next 90 day window to book that - how frustrating.

I have waited in line and never gotten an adr for the dinner. Now that being said the line fills up fast. Lucky for me I am always with a group around that time and we take turns waiting in line as you only need one person to hold your place in line but if you do this make sure your entire party is there when they are seating or else you will not be able to be seated . My advice would be to get in line 45 minutes before the show time you want to see. They do cut the line off once the seating is full and the people in line wait for the next show unless you see the line already forming then get in line. If your the 1st in line chat with the CM the one's i've talked too have always had fun stories and facts to listen and learn. hope it helps some. enjoy your trip!

1) Rent a wheelchair.
2) Go to handicap entrance
3) You and your party get in quickly.
4) Not against the rules or illegal. (Unethical is another question.)

We just walked up last year and got right in. No dining ressie packages. Marlee Matlin was the guest.

1) Sometimes they must wait in line, other times, no.
2) But, there are spaces on the 2nd aisle reserved for chairs and their familes.
3) Even if non-disabled guests are sitting there, they must move if there are wheelchairs.

Just wanted to mention that I too have a split (3 way) stay and called yesterday and booked my CP (OOP--no free dining--DVC). Over the weekend the online system let me book all of my ADRs based on my first checkin day (it actually openned 10 days, though it was a 2 night stay). So I called and asked about booking the CP and I got the old you have to call 90 from your second checkin line...... And I told the CM the online let me book everything based on my first checkin and she let me book the CP. My 90 day window for part 3 is this Friday. I also wanted to mention there was alot of availability too. (Of course no LeCellier for any level, nor Coral Reef) but I did book Chef de France and had my choice of lunch or dinner. You might want to give it a try, it can't hurt to ask. They need to change the phone message too where it says resort guest can book all of their reservations 90 days from their checkin day -- which I did bring up to the CM too. Good luck.

How long the standby line is depends on Who is the narrator, day of the week, the time of the show, and how close to Xmas you are...I have waited on standby for almnost 2 hrs and never made it into the theater( popular narrator), I have waited an hour and gotten in quickly( week night ,early December).There are some nights that they take hardly anyone from standby.If it is someone or something you absolutely MUST DO, then get in line as early as possible and hope for the best

Here's the real scoop from people who need wheelchairs:
CP thread

There are limited numbers of wheelchair accessible seats, so unless they pulled the people who can't get out of their wheelchairs out of the 'regular' line, people using wheelchairs/ECVs could be waiting in line and not get in. This can happen even when there are still plenty of seats left for people who are not using wheelchairs.

This is for the packages. People have posted in the past that wheelchair/ECV users who have not purchased the packages wait in the regular line with everyone else - I know people posted last year that they were in line in their wheelchairs for 3 hours. And, even in the package area, people who can transfer out of the wheelchair/ECV are asked to do so to make the wheelchair spots available for those who can't transfer. (AND, someone with a park rental wheelchair or ECV would probably be asked to transfer since they obviously did not bring the wheelchair or ECV into the park with them and are able to transfer).

Thanks so much for the info. I tried to push it by telling her that I was able to book LC and CRT for my second portion and that I was afraid that all the CP packages for the places I want to dine will be book by this Sunday. I will try another agent tonight when I call about my Fantasmic Package to see if there are cancellations. These boards are the BEST!!!!
