Candlelight Processional with a 2 year old?

IMO, no it isn't worth it. You're probably asking too much of your little one. Many grown-ups will find it boring. My 58-year-old mother was so bored she began to notice and count all of the different choir members who were leaving the stage or passing out. It's a nice show, but probably not worth the headache to a family with a young one. Instead, take advantage of all of the holiday shows in each of the countries. Some of those were fantastic! Father Christmas in the UK was amazing!

Has anyone done it? Is it worth it? It's only my dh, myself and our 2yo.
Does your 2 year old sit through a church service? Very similar thing. We love the CP, but have never taken one quite so young to it.

We went a few years ago with our 7yr old niece in tow. We will be at Disney in December this year with our 3-1/2 yr old and have decided not to do it this year.

Last time we did the Dinner Package and that was definitely worth it because it saved us from having to wait in a very long line. So if you do decide to go, consider that. When we were there people were lining up as much as 3hrs before the show began. Craziness, lol. Not for me (and definitely not for a 2yr old, lol). :)

Don't do it to yourself or your two year old! It was pure torture for my 3 & 4 year old -- and they actually like sitting in church! You can always catch a glimpse from outside the theatre, but that should be enough for anyone who isn't related to one of the performers. Sorry, but can't see spending the money on that again!

and I thought we were the only family that thought it was over-blown & over-rated.

We did the Candlelight Processional last year with our DD who was 3 at the time. We did the package, which was great because we didn't have to wait in a huge line. We brought her snacks and her "Princess Polly Pockets" to play with. It kept her occupied for most of the program. I really enjoyed the Candlelight Processional. Got me in the Christmas spirit. That being said, I probably would have enjoyed it more without the little one to contend with. However, if it was a choice of taking DD or not going at all, I would take her again in a second.
