We have decided to take a quick trip to Disney November 28-December 2. We tried to get into Rose & Crown with no luck. Then we asked about eating there with the Candlelight Processional and we got in at 3:30. My question is do we eat at Rose and Crown without going to the Candlelight Processional. I know its good and all but I'd much rather be riding rides. Thanks!

well, my first question is - have you ever seen the processional before? if you haven't, then you should definitely go.
Also, regarding the fact that you got a ticket when there are many others that want a ticket and might not be able to get one, it puts you in a bit of a morality issue. Maybe you can find someone that wants to go to the show and you could give them your ticket. That would solve everything!

Yes you can, they will give you tickets for the Processional just don't use them.

Thanks for the responses! We have never been there before so we really don't know if we would enjoy it but I think we'll end up giving it a shot. If we decide not to do it, we'll definatley look for a group who want tickets. :cool1:

the CP was my absolute favorite part of our trip to WDW last december. I still get goosebumps when I think about it. it is way better than any ride you can go on at EPCOT in my opinion and its only around for a limited time each year. by all means GO!!!! (or i suppose you can really make someone's day by RAK'ing them your tickets that afternoon--thats what I would call speading some real magic!)

I agree - we went early in our trip and loved it so much we made an ADR for our last night and went again (different speaker). It was wonderful, and so decidedly CHRISTMAS (versus "happy holidays")

If you don't like choral music, traditional Christmas songs and hymns, and the biblical Christmas story, then you probably won't like it. If you DO like any or all of those things, you will LOVE it!! Most people book a restaurant package just to get the tickets for the show - it's kind of funny that you're doing just the opposite, I'm sure you could give your tickets to someone in the standby line if you decide you don't want to see it.

My husband wants to go back at Christmas time just for the CP. It gave us goosebumps it was so good.
It would be so nice of you to give them to someone if you will not be using them. I would look for an elderly couple in the standby lane and make their night.
