Candlelight Processional package question

Planning way too early for 2008....
What is included in your meal when you book a CP package? Drink, entree, dessert? Appetizer?
Also, how early before a performance are people lining up for seats in the "dinner package" line?
I can't wait to go at Christmastime!

Unless they've changed it since last year, you get a drink (non-alcoholic), appetizer, entree, and dessert. We've done the CP numerous times, and our favorite meals have been at Le Cellier, Rose and Crown (though this has gone downhill in recent years), and Chefs de France.

People line up quite early. We usually go to the first show at 5pm, and people start lining up sometimes at 3:30-3:45!!!

If you don't get the package, can you get anywhere near the theater to stand outside just to listen and have a limited view? Or is it packed?
We just came back from F&W and just stood outside the fence of the theater to see Starship--just wondered if that's even possible with CP.

Just a suggestion -- make ADRs early. They book FAST for CP

It's a little more possible with the last show of the evening. During the earlier show, you have all of the people in line waiting for the next show so it's hard to get a close spot. That's why I prefer to go to the early show; from waiting in line (even with the package), you've already heard half the show if you go to the second one!
