Called today and as the CM was working out what I wanted, he said that a screen popped up stating that the packages would not be available for booking until August 5th.

Called again to make sure about this and that CM said nothing will be available until mid-late August.

Tried one more time and this CM said it would be next week. She also said that they will be starting this 2 weeks prior to the day after Thanksgiving (which is usually when this starts) and possibly doing it through the first week of January. She said that this is what is taking so long to open the dinner packages up, as they have more narrators than usual to confirm.

Are you kidding me? I have my WHOLE itinerary planned around CP only being available on 11/24 during my stay...opening it up for earlier is going to throw me into a COMPLETE tizzy!!! Now I'm going to have to relook at my WHOLE initerary!!!

Well I called...I was told TUESDAY, August 1st, but that it was only available 11/24 - 12/30.

This just proves, call Disney 3 different times, get 3 different answers!!!

I have my whole itinerary planned, but if the day I have scheduled for CP has a narrator I don't want to hear, I will probably have to re-do my plans. Here's hoping for Gary Sinise the first week of December.

Yeah, yeah I know, narrators are subject to change.

It would be wonderful if they started the CP earlier in the season! But, I just checked the Disney Calendar and it has Epcot closing at 9:30 starting on 11/24 as in the past years. So I am still hopeful, but it doesn't look like it will begin earlier on their calendar. I just want to be able to book my pkg! If they begin booking this week I will be so thrilled. The last of my major planning will be done.

Whether or not they are accurate about adding dates/speakers, I'm not sure, but I doubt a CM would give me all those details if she did not have some information. I did tell her how the second CM did not even flinch to say "nothing until the end of August." She said that she would speak to the supervisor about it. She also said that they can't wait for these to open up either, since they have been getting a lot of calls about it lately.

I'm going to start calling first thing in the morning on each day and hope for the best.
