So this will be our first time going to WDW during the holidays, and I need advice about CP seating. My mom has to use a scooter, but can get out of it to walk short distances with a cane. I’ve considered doing the dining package so we’ll have guaranteed entry but I’m concerned that because of her physical limitations once we get there she’ll be unable to use the seating you get. I don’t want to pay for the package to not get the seating or worse, not get entry because she can’t use the package seating and handicap is full. Any advice or suggestions from those who’ve gone before?

We did the dining package last December. We were a party of five including my mom with a scooter. When we finished our meal we headed right over to the Candlelight Processional to wait in line. There was actually two dining lines - one for handicapped and one for regular which were both right next to each other. We didn't realize at first but we then moved over when we found out. We were the first ones in line. The people working were very helpful. They asked my mom about seating. She wanted to stay in her scooter. When it was time to go to the seats, they led us to our row which had spots for scooters/wheelchairs. Our row was at the back of the front section but we thought our seats were great. We were right in the middle.
