Only a couple of weeks until ADRs begin. This will be our first CP. What is your favorite restaurant and who is your favorite narrator? Thanks for your expert advice. :thanks:

When we went last year, we ate at Chefs De France. Can't say I was really that impressed. We have eaten there in the past, but we kind of felt like cattle being herded through this past time.

We got to see Gary Sinese at the presenter. He was FABULOUS!!!! I am so sad that we will probably miss him this year.

Le Cellier was the best restaurant and Wayne Brady and Cicely Tyson were both great narrators .I can't wait for the narrators to be announced since I will be back at WDW in December. I would love to see James Cavizel or Gary Sinise. :yay:

Dec. 25, 2006:

Le Cellier for Xmas dinner at 4:10pm

Gary Sinise for 6:30 CP!!

It was awesome (and it even rained during our CP!):)

I highly recommend both the restaurant and Mr. Sinise.

We've done the dinner package at both Biergarten and Morraco and were not impressed by either. We have see some great narrators: Edward James Olmos, Steven Curtis Chapman and Sandi Patti. We have also seen probably the worst narrator ever Haley Joel Osmit (the "I see dead people" kid).

Le Cellier always for us! We have seen many different narrators: James Avery, Gary Sinise, Steven Curtis Chapman, Andy Garcia, Rita Moreno, and Edward James Olmos. It appears that we will hear Olmos again this year. We really liked him. Of the ones we've heard, Gary Sinise is our least favorite with James Avery and Rita Moreno being our favorite.

We'll be going for the first time this year and I haven't seen any rumors about who may or may not be speaking. Hubby would probably love to see Gary Sinise. Has James Earl Jones ever done it? That would be my ultimate choice given anyone in the world.

We did the Rose and Crown dinner...yummy prime rib.

Unfortunatly we had Cat Woman, a.k.a. Eartha Kitt, as our narrator. It's made for some good stories, though ;)

I would love to hear Edward James Olmos (so say we all)!!!

Look at the other threads that have posted today! CP reservations can be made July 2nd and presenters have been announced! Yippee!:cool1:

Since we are not on the dining plan I usually pick a Tier 1 restraunt, the cheapest. We did Biergarten, which our ds didnt care for the food but said the entertainment was o.k. Also very close to the CP, less of a walk if you are running late eating. and we did Garden Grill. I think I might try Mexico this time. We had Hayley Joel Osmet. My ds said he needed a haircut, you could barely see his face and he kept putting his head down alot. Last year we saw John O'Hurley and thought he was great, only bad thing was that is was absolutely pouring during our show and alot of people left. I just see who is there our week and pick from them.

Restaurant -- Le Cellier (all-time favorite WDW restaurant), but one year we were "forced" to go to Marrakesh for the first time because everything else was booked -- and we loved it! We're going to either Marrakesh or Nine Dragons, both excellent, this year.

Narrator -- Kirk Cameron. He doesn't have the greatest voice for it but you know it just means so much to him that it makes it extra special.

Our favorite narrator is Rita Moreno and our favorite restaurant is the Biergarten.

I saw a poll or voting table on favorite narrators. It may have been on another website. Does anyone remember where it is? :confused3

We saw Steven Curtis Chapman at CP last year, and he was great! The Christmas story is clearly very meaningful to him, and he was singing along with the choir.
