Candlelight Processional Dinner - Watching & Waiting

Called at 7:00...on hold for 25 minutes...got hung up on when I couldn't figure out how to switch from speaker on my brand new phone (arghh)...spent 20 minutes trying to call back in...another 40 minutes on hold...and then finally got what I wanted (for the most part). Biergarten for lunch on 12/20 for 10 of us.

I asked for Chefs on 12/12 at 4:30, and was offered 4:00.

Finally I'm done. After 50 minutes of dialing over and over again and 40 minutes of being on hold, we got our third choice, Teppan Edo on 24 Dec at 5:10 pm for the 8:15 show. Considering we're eating on Christmas Eve, I'm happy with our third choice. The CM was very helpful!

I hope the rest of you get through soon!

trying to call for over an hour and I am getting busy signal or "all circuts are busy now, please try your call later". I am determined. I am glad I don't have to go to work today.

For some reason I'm not able to retrieve my reservation on line! I can get the one for the party of 2 to come up, but not the one for our party of 10!

Does anyone know if this is because I called the group dining line, and made the reservation through them??

I finally got thru about 10 mins ago after dialing since 7 am. I'm trying to get something for 12/17. Still sitting on hold at work. Hopefully get thru soon.

I waited for about 30 minutes (called righ at 7). Got Le Cellier on 12/15 for the 8pm show and right after I gave my credit card number my cell phone turned off. I was in my car at this point and freaking out but when I got to where I was going I logged into my Disney account and the reservation is there. Huge relief!

Thanks for that reminder.. I went to go get my breakfast and replayed the convo in my head, and I thought.. "OMG!!! She didn't ask how many people I needed!!!!!!!!"

SO yeah, I went and checked online also... totally forgot that I could do that!

Good luck everyone.. I'm gonna go enjoy the low temps this AM-- I'm not usually up this early!! (I work 2p-10 most days! lol.)

Same here, if I can just get through to be put on hold I can at least put my phone down with the speaker phone on so I can get some things done. I'm hungry

I can't put the phone down. My bird is dancing to the music and I'm afraid she'll hang up. If that happened, we'd be having Cockatoo Stew.

I am curious for those who got through how much "chit-chat" the CM tried to have with you. I almost started to freak when mine started chatting, but I went with it. With the kind of call volume they have to handle - they obviously know how to multitask. I am glad I was calm and didn't try to rush her through the process because it all worked out.

I am curious though, how many others experienced a friendly CM - but were a bit worried about the extra chatting?

44 minutes on hold and with CM in total and got Rose and Crown for December 14 1:45 pm sitting for 5:00 pm show...exactly what we wanted. Later on that night we have Le Cellier for our last night of vacation dinner.

Hang in there folks...Hopefully you get as pleasant and knowledgeable CM as I did. Now off to work...not going to be a great hair day as I need to get there lickety split!!!

Well done! I'm a bit worried I might not get what we want as we are trying to get chefs on 12/24 at 5pm for the 8.15 cp. I'm willing to be flexible, will take whatever they have on that date. Fingers crossed!

Finally got on hold after an hour and 40 minutes of re-dialing! Estimated wait time is OVER 30 mins. Now I just have to make sure that I don't do something stupid like accidentally hang up by pressing the talk button with my face while I try to eat breakfast!
