Yesterday when I called I was told that the annoucment should be posted on the website at least 2 days in advance.

I'm just going to keep calling back every morning. Oh well. Who needs sleep?

I have been up early with all of you waiting for word of this grand event as it is also the last thing on my agenda to confirm as well. But I had a thought.

Back in another life I was a travel agent. My agency did a lot of Disney (not exclusively but the agency is a biggie in the Boston area and we did lots of Disney.) We had relationships with the sales reps of all the companies we dealt with for all of our desitinations.

There are probably travel agents on this board. Is it possible that someone who has a great relationship with their Disney rep (maybe one of Disney's favorite travel agencies) could speak with their rep and get the story behind the story and 1. get accurate info on why this is taking so long and 2. a realistic and firm date of when this will be avaialble and 3. how it will be posted so we all have a heads up. I would like to see the list of restaurants first so that I can work with my group of friends to make a choice.

Someone knows the story about the delay and an ETA of when it will be available and it can't be impossible to get accurate info if someone has the right relationships.

Failing that, I know there are CM's on here and folks who know CM's in the call centers personally.

Is there anyone out there that can help us?

I haven't been calling for the past week - just checking here when I get up. Tomorrow I have to go back to work (school is starting) so I'll be up anyway. Now that I'll have two reasons to get up it won't be so bad.

I am probably the only one happy about the delay. Something came up yesterday, and now I have to change my trip dates. I'm so glad I didn't miss out on the CLP because of my changes.

I was under the impression that in previous years, CP details would not come out until late August and was no problem as ADRs where only made 90 days in advance.

Now, if the list of narrators is not confirmed, then it's obvious they will not release any information, as many would choose dates based on who the speaker is. Specially those who pay for the packages.

So when are your new dates? We are still going the 7th to the 12th and I am hoping for the cp on the 9th as I dont want to change any of my other adrs.

I sure hope this is true, as I have been checking the page 2-3 times daily waiting for the info. It would be very helpful to know all the info before calling in to be better prepared as to what my choices are.

Just wanted to thank everyone who's been calling to check about the CP and updating everyone! I've been subscribed to this thread for a while, waiting like everyone else! We're heading down Thanksgiving week with our 2 kids and my Dad, and we only have 1 date we can do the CP, on November 26, as we're heading home on the 27th and the 26th is the first day it opens up. It'll be our first time being down there 'around Christmas' and we'd love to do the CP. Really hope we get something when it opens...I didn't book anything for that date, but the rest of the trip is all planned.

I have been doing the same thing thanks to this thread! We have our Firework Parties booked and our Holiday Delights tour scheduled already. We just have to buy our MVMCPs tickets (waiting to see what the crowds will be like) and schedule our CPs and we are ready to roll!!

See you there!!! The 26th is our only date as well, and I'm waiting, not so patiently for dinner packages so we can make sure we get to see this. My FIL is a minister of music and I know this will be the highlight of his trip.

Hi All...

Its bed time and just seeing if anyone had any inof yet.. appears same story.. LOL

Anyways, to answer a previous posters question i have a ADR for Le Ceiler for 8pm on the day i want to get the CP package.. It's kinda a fall back..I figure if i can't get the dinning package i will still have the restaurant i want.. If i get the CPP i will cancel the other ADR.. As far as the other days i have a about 2 ADR's a day, lunch/dinner..

I saw on another website that you may be charged two of your TS credits for the CLP package; is this true?

I spoke with a very nice CM tonight. She said that unfortunately they don't have ANY information. She said she really felt bad because she wasn't sure what to tell people. She said that I should just stay on top of it because they don't know when it will open.
