Thanks so much for the info Nancy !!!

Now what to do, what to do????? I'm leaning towards Sunday, 12/8.

I just made our ressies fo Dec 2. They told me there were no packages for Dec 1. :( . We are doing the 8:15PM show and having our meal at Canada at 4:40PM.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

NO shows Dec. 1st? That shoots the Roy Disney as narrator rumor - unless that night is one big PRIVATE party.

The CM told me no names have been listed yet. No 5PM show eother on Dec 2.

Last year's info on the Disney World web site says no dinner packages were available on Sunday, Dec. 2nd - which corresponds to Dec. 1st this year.

Last year I missed much of DATW because that was when I did the CP dinner package. However - doing it later in the week gave me time to figure out which souvenirs I wanted to buy with the 15% discount!

Nancy: That's exactly what I was thinking too, which is why I'm thinking about doing it 12/8. It's also Holly and Meggan's last night, so that would be a nice way to end their trip.

In past years, EPCOT has reserved one Sunday night for local churches to attend the CP. It's usually the first Sunday in December. As zulaya posted, you can go to the shows (via standby line) if there is room, but Disney doesn't have any dinner packages for that night. That's probably what's going on December 1.

Looks like this year will be similar to last year in that some days will not have a 5:00 CP. That means Disney must be expecting lower attendance again this December (compared to 2000). That's good for us, but not for Disney. Hope thing improve soon!

Hmmm...I thought this news would get more of you itching to get a group together! Guess some of the wind was taken out of our collective sails when we tried planning "extra" stuff last week.

HMMMM..... I wish I knew who the narrator would be. We've seeen James Avery the last 2 yrs. He was excellent, but I think I would like to see someone else. I really am hoping Roy Disney will do it when we would be able to go. :D
