Does anyone know if the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package can be used in conjunction with the DDP? We have two young kids. Would you recommend this event for them? Also, when do the dinner packages go on sale and which restaurant would your recommend?

Yes, you can use DDP credits for them. Not sure when they go on sale for next year, but doubt they are available just yet. Probably 180 days out like other ressies. I think the restaurants change each year. We prefer Teppan Edo if they are offered again.

Thanks for your response! Do you know if the CP dinners count as one sit down meal or two? Also trying to decide if the DDP is worth it.

It depends on the restaurant. If the restaurant requires two, then the CP ticket will also.

How young are your children and can they sit still through a formal performance for about 45 minutes?

This is not your normal Christmas entertainment. There is no Santa, no Frosty and no Jingle Bells. Just one of the most beautiful presentations of the Christmas story from Luke told by someone famous! This year we got to see Lt.Dan and it was one of the best we have ever seen. Choir, orchestra, trumpets. Ahhhhhh.

We enjoy Le Cellier and Biergarten. Biergarten is great with kids because there's a band and everyone is supposed to bounce around on the dance floor and have fun.

PS. Either of those restaurants is 1 TS with the CP package.

As this thread isn't DVC specific, I'm going to move it to the Restaurants board. :)

The Candlelight Processional was awesome.

For 2007, the Packages came out July 2nd. We did the pkg with Le Cellier. It was great.

If you plan on seeing CP (and I highly recommend it) I would do the dinner pkg for sure. You are guaranteed a seat that way.

Thank you all for your replies. My kids are younger... one will be almost 3 and the other 1, but I know my oldest would sit through it, so I am thinking this will be going on our list of things not to miss. :)

What is the difference between tiers (1-3)? Is it just resturant quality/price? Or does it affect your seating location? :confused3
