When do the CP pakgs usually open up for booking? How will I know what evening to leave open when making my other dinning reservations? Do they do the Candlelight Processional every night in December?

CP is every night once it starts. Dining packages were available to book in July last year. Lunch reservations are also available for the package.

Oh no! My ADR date is 6/7, but I won't know who the CP speakers are until July?? (I realize they can change at any moment, but I was going to choose our CP night by who was there.) Hmmmm....do the guest speakers usually stay for a full week at a time? TIA

This link from easywdw dates that some narrators were announced late June with packages avail to book July 26th. My day to book is June 11, I am just going to do it and hope for the best. I'm sure they are all great, I would love to see Neil Patrick Harris!

Thanks! The only one of those speakers I would really be partial to would be Michael W. Smith. I would love to see someone like Stephen Curtis Chapman or Morgan Freeman! I don't mean to hijack your thread, ACJT. :offtopic: Here's another question: Could I book a couple of different CP lunch/dinners (on different days) and then cancel the one I don't like? (Keeping the ADR, but taking off the CP part.) Also, if we booked Le Cellier for dinner (2TS), would it change to 3TS credits if we booked it for CP, or would it stay at 2TS?

We saw it when Corbin Bernsen was narrating. He would not have been someone we picked, but he was amazing! So, I wouldn't worry too much about who narrates. The entire show is so spectacular, the narrator is secondary, really.

I think you could book a couple of CP dining ressies and cancel one once you find out who will be narrating. And I wouldn't think it would be 3 TS credits for Le Cellier, but not sure. If it was, I would definitely choose another restaurant.

This is such a great show I know you'll love it. Good luck with your choice and enjoy!

Last year, the first since Le Cellier went signature for dinner, that restaurant did not offer dinner CP packages at all. They offered lunch packages only, for 2 credits.

Thanks, Disneychic2! I know you're right--we will LOVE it, no matter who narrates. :thumbsup2 I would love to choose someone we already know & admire, if given the option. Yes, I will switch around ressies if LeC ends up being 3TS. Thank you!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can book CP reservations until they are released in late July....at which time at least part of the speakers are confirmed.

Also, CP bookings can't be "switched" to non-CP reservations without rebooking, right?

Yes, this is correct. You cannot make an ADR now and then just add the CP package to it, or the other way around.

Thanks for this. That's how I understood it to work, but I've seen several people saying they were getting ready to make their ADRs for it? Of course, I've seen people talking about trying to get an ADR for Be Our Guest too.....

I figure I'm going to be at Epcot 2 days, so I'll book a "regular" ADR for both of them and then when the CP packages are open, I'll see what I can get and cancel the "standard" ADR I won't need.

Thanks for all this info! It was me who was confused about "switching an ADR to CP later." I didn't realize you couldn't do that, but I'm glad you all brought it to my attention. ;) And I will definitely choose LeC for lunch, then do something like R&C for CP dinner. I'm so glad you all are in the know :thumbsup2

So a CLP Dinning package cost 2 TS credits each? Also what time do you recommend for a dinner time ADR for the package?

All Candlelight Processional dining packages cost 2 DDP credits.

You don't pick your time for the meal. You pick which show you want, that will determine your mealtime. If you pick the earliest show, your dinner package will be lunch.

Awesome! That is very helpful :)

I have maybe a bit of different question - how long does the CP run for? (dates estimate from when to when? a week? two weeks, the whole month of December? - no clue). Thank you.

We saw Trace Adkins in 2010 and he was amazing! If only the choir parent behind us would have shut her mouth instead of yapping the whole time to her neighbor about how wonderful her daughter's choir was.

From the day after Thanksgiving (November 23rd this year) until December 30.

I've been lucky enough to see quite a few CPs.......never get tired of it!! It is one of the most beautiful ways to celebrate Christmas & start your holiday season!! :goodvibes
