Candlelight Processional Dining Package - Which restaurant would you choose?

Hi Disers! We have gone to WDW a few times over the last five years, but almost always during food and wine so i have no experience with Epcot restaurants. Which would you choose for the CP package and why? There is me, DH, DS5, and my mom and we are all on the dining plan. The only restaurant we have ever been to at Epcot was Biergarten and we did not care for the food. DS5 loves all characters (princesses included) and we are really not picky eaters, so we are pretty open. Which restaurant do you think has the best food/ambiance and is the best use of our 2 TS credits? Thanks in advance!

Is this for this year or in the future? If you are looking for this year there will be limited availability at this point. You need to look at what still has ADR's and book from there.
Plus the CP dining package is 2 credits on the DDP.
I would choose Le Cellier if it is available

Not so much a recommendation, but just relating my experience with meal connected to CP. We chose Marrakesh. More so based on proximity as anything and desiring something unique and different.

Service and entertainment (belly dancing) was excellent. We did not; however, like the menu choices. Too exotic and spicey for our taste buds. Others, I am sure would rave about the food. It just was not suitable for us.

Good luck, maybe others can offer good alternatives. It is afte rall a matter of individual preferences.

We had a party of six at Les Chef de France Dec of '14 and had a FABULOUS dinner, then the show afterward. Everyone in our party was VERY PLEASED, in fact we have a dinner ADR at Chef again this October, looking forward to it! It was our first time for Candlelight Processional Show, Levar Burton was the narrator and it was EXCELLENT! We were there mid December, days were beautiful and warm, but nights were downright chilly, so be prepared as the show is outdoors and even though you have the Candlelight Dinner Package, you do wait on line. We had fabulous seats, the highlight of our trip! ENJOY, WDW holiday decorations!:santa::thumbsup2

It is for this year. So far, everything I've checked has been available (maybe I'm just lucky today?). I booked Akershus, then cancelled it and have Garden Grill booked, but am happy to change it if someone has a better suggestion. Le Cellier does not come up as a choice of restaurants. Thanks for the suggestions.

Thank you for the tips! Just looked at the menu and it looks fabulous!

Le Cellier no longer participates in the Candlelight Processional Dinner Packages. I have eaten at Tutto Italia, Les Chefs de France, Rose & Crown and Coral Reef and have good, not great, meals at each one. If paying OOP, Via Napoli would be my choice but it never seems to have availability. :headache:

We traditionally eat at Teppan Edo. My kids love watching them cook in front of you. I tried to switch it up this year, but they insisted we go back here. It is convenient because by the time we are done eating, we can get in line for the show.

This show has special meaning to me because I was in it in high school (back when it was at MK and you processed through the park to the train station). My boys love to watch the orchestra!

I also did the package at CdF last year and had a great time. Since I am paying OOP this year, I booked breakfast at Garden Grill. I went there in May and the food was great.

DW and I chose Marrakesh for our Candlelight package this past December. It was one of the few EPCOT places we hadn't tried and we thought we'd give it a shot despite the not so great reviews. What a wonderful surprise! We both had the lamb and it was delicious, as was the rest of our meal! I have to say that Marrakesh was the best non-signature meal of our 12-day visit.
