Candlelight Processional Dining now available

I booked mine, too! So excited! Our entire trip coincides with Neil Patrick Harris, so I'm hoping for a celebrity siting :)

The nights NPH is doing the CP will be PACKED. You will want to get in line early as the line will quickly extend back to Japan.

Thanks for the heads up. Apparently they are also allowing any of the meal seatings to attend whichever CP performance you want - so with a lunch reservation you can attend the 8:15pm show. I guess that's something new this year. I'm not sure how that's going to work, but you have to pick your show time in advance, so I guess the shows shouldn't be oversubscribed? I've never been, so I don't know what to expect. We booked the CP dining to avoid waiting in line all day because we will have two 3-year-old in tow and we know they won't be able to handle too long of a line. Our dinner reservation is at 5:45pm at Via Napoli and the show is at 8:15pm. That should still give us enough time to get a seat, I hope?

We didn't have a choice - our lunch Via Napoli CP package has us going to 5pm show. Where did you see that you could pick the performance you want? This sounds like it would be chaos.

When I booked on the phone, she gave me the choice of which show I wanted. I had to call back later in the day when I noticed on MDE that my confirmation was for 4 adults instead of 2 adults/2 children. They had to cancel the original reservation and re-book a new one and I was nervous about losing the 8:15pm show (thankfully, it all worked out). There's a long thread (I think in the Restaurants forum) where people reportedly were booking breakfast and lunch reservations, but selecting the 8:15pm show. It definitely sounds chaotic. I hope they have this figured out so that everyone isn't showing up to the same show. We booked ours for a day that we can attend the DVC Merry Mixer first, then dinner, then the CP. It will be our first time attending either of these events, so we are really looking forward to it!

I forgot to mention that if you wanted to change your showtime, you should try calling the Dining number. Apparently if you booked through the website, it just assigned you a time, but if you called, you were given a choice.

Your assigned dining time is directly related to your CP show time. When you book on-line, you select your desired dining time and your show time is assigned based on dining time. If you call, you tell them what show time and they give you the appropriate choices in dining times for that show time.

Not this year Michael. I chose an early time that should have been the earliest show and was assigned the 8:15. Then I tried another and was still assigned 8:15. 3rd try got me 6:45. All for the same dining time that should have gotten the earliest 5pm.

Here's a response from the Disney Parks Blog:

"Guests have the option of booking a dining reservation at any time throughout the day and choosing the time of show they would like to attend as long as their dining reservation begins a minimum of 2.5 hours prior to the start of their show time. Example: Guest can book a 12:30 p.m. lunch and attend the 8:15 p.m. show."

Hummmm...I booked Rose and Crown yesterday and the latest they had was 3:35pm and we could've selected 6:45 or 8:15...I'm gonna check on line to see if I can't get a later time for dinner.

I booked mine online. If you pick a time to eat it will give you what performance it is for. If you do not like that time pick another time and see what time that show is for. I did that a few times before I found a lunch with an 8:15 show.
