Hi!
I made reservations for the CP package with dinner at LeCellier, for Christmas Day.
We had dinner there last week and we didn't like it. :(
I am sure I can't get a dinner package reservation anywhere else for Christmas night and that is the only night we can go.
So, looks like we will be dining at Le Cellier or canceling the CP dinner package and taking our chances elsewhere.
I think we are spoiled by the steak at Flying Fish.:)

Call and find out--you never know, someone may have cancelled at another restaurant.

It never hurts to try.

Good Luck:D

That is one thing I never understood...you don't go to Le Cellier for steaks.

They have excellent appetizers, we always go for lunch and share a bunch of appetizers. The rest of the menu looks good, but is just ok.

That is funny, because I tried to get a ressie for CP at Le Cellier, but couldn't. Got mine at Chefs. What didn't you like? I had dinner there in August and loved it. Thought my filet was like butter. Could cut it with a fork.

We ate at Le Cellier last year and my filet was absolutely to die for (my dessert stunk, but that is another story). Very, very high quality beef, well prepared, and well presented.

The reason I chose this restaurant was because so many people on this board have raved about the steaks there.
We just weren't happy with the service or the food. The cheese soup was pretty good but we make a great cheese/potato soup that is even better! :)
My husband liked the barley soup (I think that's what it was) but we weren't thrilled with the steaks. I might call to see if there are any openings elsewhere but maybe we'll just stay with the original plan.
It's not THAT bad! ;)

Happy Holidays!
