Can you use your DDE discount with the Candlelight Processional?

Someone posted the other day that you can't use DDE for the CP. Too bad. But when making a reservation, it never hurts to ask!

Can reservations be made when resort reservations are made or do I have to wait for the 60 day period?

It is a seperate reservation. Watch the restaurant board and people will start posting when reservations for CP open up. It has been before the 90 day mark for other PSs. I think August or September in the past.

BTW almost all PSs are 90 days now not the 60 days for park PSs as it used to be.

We used the DDE with Fantasmic in Dec '04.

I've had a DDE for 4 years now, and have never been able to use it for any dining events that are prepaid - such as CP, Food and wine festival events (Party for the senses, signature dinners, etc.)......Jill

I know that in 2003 they weren't accepting any discounts for the Candlelight Processional packages. Usually they start taking PS for those at Disney Dining about 90 days out, just like any of the other dining, however, since they basically have to book both the dining and make sure it matches the times for the shows, it may take a bit longer than the normal dining PS. Also, you will have to give a CC number, and it will be charged to your card. If, for whatever reason it is not paid for and you go to pick up your tickets, the tickets will still be there, but you will need to pay for for the package then.

No, there really is a difference...or at least there has been. When the reservations for CP open, the entire block opens. So if the tickets are released on Sept. 1, on that day you could make a reservation for Dec. 1...close to 90 days ...as well as Dec. 25 which is obviously further out. It probably doesn't matter a lot for some days but for 12/24 or 12/25, I would make it as soon as possible.

Of course, things are always subject to change.

We used the DDE with Fantasmic in Dec '04.

when i emailed rosa i said that i'd "heard" of people who'd used it & asked if i could get my discount now since i still had the receipt. she said no bc it couldn't be used for it & that she was going to mail the mgr of mama melrose to make sure that they didn't use it again.

You pay for the entire package when you book it. I forgot they opened the entire block at one time... been a long year!
