We were so excited to get seats on the benches for tonight's show. Unfortunately it started raining about half way through and they had to cancel the show about thee quarters of the way in. I could see many of the musicians getting anxious about their instruments and I would have been as well.

Of course about 2 minutes after the host officially cancelled it the rain totally stopped.

Disappointing for us as we're from Seattle and won't get a chance to attend another night.....

Yup, not much you can do when it's the weather.

I live here in the OC and its been unsettling since Thursday. It is not all that unusual this time of year to have cloudy, damp days. Today we actually had some breaks from the rain. But I did hear Sunday is going to be rainy. Sun makes a comeback by Monday.

So how was the set up? Up against the train as usual? Smaller than the past? How were the crowds around it? I just can't fathom how they're managing this for 20 nights!

We usually avoid CP weekends at all costs, so I'm concerned about it taking over main street for 6 nights we're there!

Yes it was set up against the main station as normal. We've never been before but saw it set up last year as we were leaving. It looked the same. Crowds were pretty crazy but we lined up on main street in the waiting lines they'd set up around 6.10pm and managed to get the 5 bench seats for the 7.30pm show. They let us in to the show area around 6.50pm in groups of 30 (we were the second group to go in).

How were your views for bench seating? I'm trying to figure out if it would be better to stand or if I'd have people standing in my view from bench seating.
