I am sure it has been asked but can't find it. Does anyone know when the Candlelight processional packages for 2010 will be available?

They are not yet available, nor have they been announced for 2010.

Any idea when they have historically been made available for booking? I'm guessing it's after the the narrators are announced, but I can't remember when that happened last year either.

Anytime between now and August..Last year they were announced end of August/beginning of Sept BUT....LAst year all adrs were 90 days out not 180.

In 2008, the release date was July 1st IIRC, and that was at 180 days to make reservations. I just remember it because we needed them for our 2008 Christmas trip.

If memory serves me correctly, the narrators were released in the the 2nd or 3rd week of June and a notice that the reservations would begin July 1. So, I had about 10-14 days to plan before having to call and make the reservation.

We didn't do CP in 2009, but plan to this year over Christmas again, so I'm anxiously awaiting the info too!!

I hope they open it up soon too. Just in case, I made dining reservation for that night anyway but didn't get the best time. Maybe because they are holding block of tables for package?

My husband called for me this morning and snagged a ressie at Le Cellier for 12/14. That was the only ressie I was unable to get last night. The reservationist said she expected CP to be announced in the next 2 weeks, so that would correspons with on or around July 1. I want to change my ressie at LC to CP package.;)

Do they only have so many packages available for the Candlelight? I have been trying to get a regular old ressie for Garden Grill and can't. Everyone thought that was because people were reserving it for the PRocessional "just in case"? Do you think ressies might open after that when not everyone can get the packages?

I called this morning and was told late August before reservation will be taken...

Disney is KILLIN' me with this CP dinner package!!! I have ALL my ADRs but this one booked and it's driving me NUTS!!:scared1: grrr... I was originally told end of July..but so far that hasn't happened. I've called every day this week. CM today told me End of august. :rolleyes1:rolleyes1:headache:

Hopefully it will be soon! BTW..Hello everyone! :wave2:

Can't you just book your dinner and have disney apply the processional package to the reservation when it comes out? That's what I would do.

I think it's like Fantasmic. There's only so many seats in the theatre so there are only so many reservations. Or like a room discount. If a room discount comes out and you already have a room they can't just give the discount. They have to cancel your reservation and give you a new room if there are any discounted rooms available.

Nope. You can't do that. (I guess Disney figured that out long ago) I wish you could though! When you book a regular reservation you can not change it to the package deal. It's like that with Fantasmic dinner packages to. It has to be booked specifically for the event. :headache:

I used to be part of the angst filled group, waiting for CP pkgs to come out and be able to book. But, then, I realized that it was not that big a deal. Okay..if you want LeCellier, then yes, it is going to be harder to get. Or if you have one night to do it, and only want one or two different restaurants, then maybe it's going to be harder.
But, last year, I was able to book what I wanted, several days after the booking window opened, and then was able to change it to something else a month or so later. Was the change exactly what I wanted? No, not 100%, but it was a very good alternative, one that I was quite happy with.

As long as you are somewhat flexible, you should be fine..even if you miss that first day or two for booking.
