Candlelight Processional 2008 Info Thread

Well, darn . . . I called at 8:00 a.m. CST and couldn't get anything (even non-CP) for Le Cellier for 2 for 12/7, 12/8, 12/10 or 12/11. Now I'm a sad sack for the day.

Well I just couldn't bring myself to get up early. Slept in over here and just got off the phone with dining. Got Rose & Crown for 12/25 at 5pm with the 8:15pm show. Woooooohooooo! That was way too easy. I was expecting a mad rush or crazy hold times.

Sorry to hear that! Maybe try calling back later on. I bet some people with regular LC ressies cancelled them when they got CP packages. Maybe the cancelled tables haven't shown up in the system yet . Good luck!

I called right at 7am and got thru ASAP. I wanted Garden Grill on 12/21 for the 6:45 show. Got the latest slot at 4:10pm. I really wanted to go to the 5pm show but we can't miss DS's nap back at the hotel so lunch won't work. The CM did say that GG was NOT participating for lunch anyway. Pixie dust to all still trying!!!

I called around 8ish Eastern time and was able to snag Garden Grill for 5:15pm for the 8:15 show.

This makes for eight character meals this trip...

For those who call and can't get what they want. DO NOT DISPAIR!!!!!

Do what many of the DISer's do, just call back and talk with someone else. I called and was on hold for 50 minutes before the nice CM told me that nothing was available for a party of two for 12/4 third show at any Epcot restaurant. I booked a second show seating with her. Then I called back 15 minutes later, spoke with a different CM, got the 12/4 third show seating at the restaurant I wanted and then just cancelled the second show seating. Some CMs are better at reading availability than others. Also, cancellations will be happening quite frequently over the next several months, so DON'T DISPAIR!

I started calling at 7am and received the "all circuits are busy" that continued for 10 minutes and then finally I was through and on hold. I had to pass the phone off to my wife after 15 minutes so I could begin getting ready for work. When I got out of the shower my wife was actually talking to a live person. Amazing, we are only going to be at VWL 16-19 December and we are only going to one park, Epcot, on the 18th. So we are very excited to get Le Cellier at 5PM for the 8:15 performance. Wow, we are going to start the day on the Segway tour, have dinner at Le Cellier, watch the Candlelight Processional, and finish with the IllumiNations show. What a wonderful way to celebrate our 27th anniversay!

WOW, I got exactly what I wanted. 12-18 5:40 ADR at Chefs De France for the 8:15 show.

I called at 0703 this morning and continued to get the recording that the circuits were full. Perseverance paid off and we got our reservation for Dec. 18th at the Coral Reef 5pm. Good luck to all in getting their reservations.

Thank you so much for the reminder! I was thinking the booking started on June 27th. I just called at 8:30am Texas time and got through no problem. We got the exact day, time, and place we were looking for ~12/19 at Le Celliers for a party of 7 at 2:30. We wanted the 5:00 show. Thank you!

I started called at 6:58am and kept redialing until they opened exactly at 7am. I got through immediately and was able to get Teppan Edo for 12/1 for 5:45pm ADR for 8:15pm show for 7 people. SOOOO excited. Then cancelled my 6:30pm ADR that previously made.

One hint for people calling in, when you hear the first annoucement, press 1, then 1 again and 1 again and this will put you directly into operators. You will not have to enter phone number, etc. I have done this the 6-7 times I have called without a problem.

I also got the one I wanted. 12/24 at Teppan Edo at 17:15 for the 20:15 show. It's our first time at WDW for Christmas and first time doing CP, though we've been to WDW 3 times. Can't wait!

We were also able to get what we wanted Tepan Edo on Dec 5th at 5:00pm for the 8:15 show I got right through at 7am

Woo hoo! We got what we wanted too! Party of six at LC on 12/11 at 4:00 for the 6:45 PM show! I called right at 7:00 and spent about 20 minutes on hold. My hopes were fading as each minute ticked by.

Man, I swear ADRs can bring on so much stress! LOL

I started dialing at 7 a.m. and didn't get through until 7:24. Then I waited for a CM for 43 minutes. Luckily I still got mine for GG on Christmas Eve, 6:45 show. We will be coming off the Wonder that morning so I didn't want to have a dreadfully long day.

I also wanted the Garden Grill for lunch on Christmas and was told they weren't participating for that show time. My plan was to do Le Cellier as a late dinner, so instead I booked dinner for 5:35 with the 8:15 show.

I started calling a few minutes before 7am and it took a couple of tries before I got through and then was on hold 40 minutes. I tried calling from a different line figuring I was stuck in a holding loop, but at 7:20 I couldn't even get through on the second line, so I just kept holding on the first line.

Now I just have to wait until Friday for my 180 day reservations.

DH called today at 7am. He was on hold for 40 minutes (including the time he got circuits busy) and he got the day, dining time (5 pm), show time (8:15 pm) and restaurant (Le Cellier) we wanted.

What I did was call the 407-wdisney number at 945 est this morning and got the lecell steakhouse 410 dinner which is good enough for me with a 645 show so very happy and by the way if anyone wants to workout a trade i have Lecell for Dec 16th to trade away so contact me if you need or want it 555pm party of 2

I just called back to change the dining time to 4:10 and it took all of 11 minutes for the entire call. This morning from the time I dialed until hanging up was 75 minutes. The CM said there had been 5,057 reservations made between my calls. That's a lot of calls!

Just called at 10:15 CST and didn't even have to wait on hold. Got the 8:15 show eating at Teppen Edo on December 26th! Love this show!
