Here are some questions I have. This is a first trip to WDW for Christmas (always summer trips before) and will be there beginning Dec 18 for 10 days (going to Universal for 2 of those days).

1. What will the crowds be like?
2. With a CP dinner package, I have read you get other stuff with this other than a dinner and priority seating. Some of these are a Lanyard with a pin and a 15% or 20% off coupon to use anywhere in EPCOT that day. Is any or all of this true?
3. Are there ever any E-ride nights at the Magic Kingdom during this time period?
4. Tentative Christmas day plan. Hit MK early, leave around lunch, go to Wilderness Lodge/Whispering Canyon, maybe take a sled ride if available, then off to EPCOT to finish out the day. Sound like a good plan veterans?

Thanks again. These boards are great.:teeth:

2. They did not give lanyards the last couple years and the shopping discount was discontinued last year.

3. no

1. Verrrrrry crowded.

2. Used to be true. Discontinued. But you never know.

3. Before the MVMCPs are over, the park is open late for those parties. After the parties are over, the park is usually open pretty late anyway to accomodate the crowds.

4. Sometimes the parks fill to capacity on Christmas Day and the days up to NY Day. If that happens you won't get back into the park of your choice, only the park that is still open if you are an onsite guest. If you are staying offsite, you may not get into any parks. The parking lot will be closed.

1, The first few days shouldnt be too bad. Last year we got a lot more than we had planned done before Christmas. It was Christmas and after when the mobs poured in.

2, As others said, nope, last year we got nothing.

3, Again, like the others daid, no because the parks are open pretty late anyway.

4, Your Christmas plan sounds like ours. We went to MK for opening at 8:00. We walked on 4 rides before our breakfast in the castle. After breakfast we got out of there as it was absolutely mobbed. We could barely walk down Main St as we were going against traffic with everyone coming in. ;) We then resort hopped and mini golfed for the day to avoid the crowds and we ended the night with a sleigh ride. The only thing Im not sure about is the timing of the sleigh ride. What time are you planning on it? I want to say they didnt start until the evening, but again, I cant definitely remember.
