We'll be heading to Disney for Tkanksg. & week after - I would like to book a dinner res. & see the Candlelight Procession - I know it's last minute, but does anyone have suggestions for dinner - I have a dd 12 & ds (big ds) 15, so we would need food - nothing fancy - but good quality w/o breaking the bank. Tks!

Personally, I think you need to call right away and even see what's still available-if anything! We're going that week too and we made our CP dinner ressies back in August. You still may get in somewhere, but you may not get much of a selection of restaurants, show times, dates or dinner times. If you're really interested in doing this, I say call asap and see what's left and then plan from there. Good luck! :thumbsup2 I know we're certainly looking forward to it too.

Maybe the Biergarten would be a good choice? The buffet offers a nice variety of food. If your ds is a big eater, then he'd probably enjoy a buffet.

I just called on sat. and got the garden grill for 11/29. I only do a tier 1. We have done biergarten and garden grill before and we have 2 teens 17 and 16 so lots of food is a priority. Also throwing the characters into the mix is a good bargain for us. I saw a post how another diser figured out the exact cost of a meal compared to the candelight package etc. and he showed how the garden grill lst meal which is actually the lunch, you just dont get the salad was the best bargain. So that is what we are doing. Our ds didnt enjoy the food at biergarten but they liked the entertainment and it was very close to the theater venue for the show.

I just reserved - we will see the 8:15 show - question - why is it $32.95 & the menu says $27

The $27 is for the lst show, 5 pm, this is the meal where you dont get the salad at garden grill. We really didnt even like the salad the last time so who cares. We are really going to see the show so we dont have to stand in the stand by line. I made a mistake, our show is for 11/28, my ds just love John O Hurley. They loved him as J. Peterman on Seinfeld, which is always in reruns around here and family fued etc. Last time we got 2 whole plates of food at the Garden Grill, our ds were that hungry etc.
