Hi Tessa,

I think I can speak for the Diz Boards.......and say it is not important whose idea it was....but I give credit to all the Diz folks who took this idea and ran with it.

I think it's grand how all these folks are pulling together.

I do not remember seeing any CM's posting they were joining in, but I do know many of the guests who sailed on the Wonder from LA today...were lighting battery candles and putting magnetic candles on their cabins doors.

All these folks are keeping Rebecca, her family and shipmates in thier prayers hoping she somehow returns to her family, safe and sound.

I have noted there are candles being lit from the UK, Ireland, the states, Canada, north to Alaska, and south to Austraila.

Yep, it took me by surprise too, but their (at least England's) Mother's Day is today. Ironic how that worked out. On one hand the candle lighting seems even more appropriate today, and on the other it is a little more saddening.

We lit our candle here in Derby, England 2.5 hours ago, joining those in the UK.
