You want the package because of how popular this is. You will get priority and most of the seating is reserved for those with the dining package. People have waited hours in standby never to get in any of the showings.

Very true. We waited for an hour last year for Alphonso. This year, for NPH, ugh...

You don't *have* to, but some people want to be front & center. I think the space is small enough (and I'm a party of 1 or 2) that I've never bothered to get there that early, even for NPH. They will still let you in if you show up 20 minutes or so beforehand (I've cut it very very close before but wouldn't do it again).

In your opinion.
CP gets very high reviews every year, this is why the dining package sells out and every show is filled to capacity

Can you still hear and see the show if you stand in the back? Do they allow standing? I can not visualize this, but I know I have half watched shows in that pavillion while walking past during the summer months even when there were seats.

I'll be seeing NPH this year. Have a dining package. There will be 4 of us. We don't have to be front and center. How early should we get in line before they stop the package seating?

If you decide to stand in the back you have to be all the way outside the theater, behind the ropes, they do not allow standing in the back, in the theater
