I am guessing that the dining plan will not be able to be used for the Candle light package. Should we buy into this, or do some of you have ideas for getting close enough without the reservations?

This is our first Christmas trip 23-29, so any suggestions on this would be FABULOUS!!!

BTW-Just saw Christmas at WDW on the food channel, HOW exciting!

I booked the candlelight dinner package and used my dining plan credits. However I am not sure what is included. I would guess that I would still get drink, app, entree and dessert. Anyone know?

We've been to the CP before without the package and there was a HUGE line of people waiting to get a seat (and we went during the "off season"). We did get a seat (after waiting about 45 min. to an hour) but there were some people who had to split up to be sat (even a couple had to split to fill in spaces where one person could sit) that were behind us. We're doing the package this time so that we don't have to waste as much time and not knowing if you're even going to get a seat. The package does include appetizer, drink (non-alcholic), entree, and dessert for each person. From what I've heard you still may have to wait in a small line but at least you'll still be guaranteed a seat. This show is not to be missed! It is truly amazing. We thought it would just be a neat Christmas thing where people sing and tell a story but it takes your breath away when you actually see it. Have fun!!!

*** Also, just because you're in line for the Processional doesn't mean you'll get a seat. It's first come first serve so you may end up waiting in the line and then not even get a seat. I noticed when we were sat that on the outside of the seating area there were people lined up standing watching the show so I guess if you didn't get a seat or were just passing by you might still be able to get to see the show, you'll just have to stand.

Actually, the Candlelight Processional Dinner Package can be purchased using the dining plan. All participating restaurants for the dinner package use 1 TS meal except for Coral Reef which is 2 TS/person.

Yes you can use the magic your way dining package. You will receive a seat at the CP plus a drink, app, entree and dessert. It also pays the tax and gratuity as well. It only costs 1 ts for most restaurants.

We used the dining plan last Monday for the Candlelight package at Le Cellier.

THANKS so much for the info!!! Guess will call and change one of my APR for the processional if I cn get it, sounds AMAZING!!!

Appreciate ALL your replies!!!

See you real soon

I know the restaraunts for the candlelight package are broken up into 3 tiers for the pricing of the restaraunt. Does this also mean the seating for the concert is also in 3 tiers or is it just one big roped of seating for all on the package deal? thanks

Seating is the same line for all package guests. There are two lines one for stndby and one for package guests and both are first come first seated, if you are in the package you are guaranteed a seat but if you want to be close to the front, line up early. Last year we bought the package for Dec 24 we were in line approx. 35 min prior to show starting and we sat about 2/3 of the way back very good seats but along way from front row.

Hi, I booked that today... and the CM told me that Beverages are not included in the price, nor is tax. Gratuity is included, however. Has anyone else been told this?

No at LeCellier we were given our drink as well as we were on the dining package. I even asked the mgr if we would get them and he said yes everything stays the same for dining package customers but that you also get a seat at cp.

Update from us- called wdw-dine, they were very helpful, we moved our 24th adr to the 26th to include the candlelight processional, and moved sci fi to christmas eve, little odd, but glad to get in on the processional at this late date!!

many thanks for all the help-will report back!
