Candelight Processional for Preschoolers?

We will be at Epcot Monday, November 29th- is it worth it to wait in line for the CP? My kids are 7,5,3, 2 and 1. Will this be interesting for them? We are attending the Princess Storybook breakfast that morning, so booking another sit-down dinner that night is not in our budget. Are some shows less crowded than others? How early would we need to line up without the reserved seats? Thanks.

I don't know about waiting for seats. We did the dinner package last year. But my daughter was 3 and she watched in the beginning. But towards the end she got bored and wanted to wiggle. But it was cold too. We're going again this year because the rest of the family loved it. But I think I'll be prepared and buy some cookies and cocoa before the show starts so she has something else to entertain herself with when she starts getting bored.

If you don't have a dinner package plan to stand in line 30-60 minutes ahead of time. Last year I got in line 30 min before show time and we did not make it inside. Although we were one of the 1st ones in for the next show. (This was just after Thanksgiving, so parks were still crowded.)

We took our boys last year when they had just turned 5 and 3. We did buy CP packages but we still ended up waiting on line--a very long line--for about 30 minutes. Did they enjoy the show. Somewhat. Would they have been happier doing something else? You bet. Unless you plan on a sit down meal that evening, I would not do CP package if I were you. You can try the stand by line--you might have a better luck on the earlierst show. Otherwise, you can just sit on a bench nearby the theater and enjoy the sound if not the sight, and when the kids get antsy you can move on. That's what we did when the kids were 4 and 2.
