Hi Folks,

Question....

those who've attended the CP in Dec in Epcot, we are looking at going to the 1st showing of the day (5pm) and then making our AR for dinner at Rose & Crown. We'd also like to stay to watch Illuminations. We would try to get outside seating at R&C so we don't have to move to watch the fireworks. What time should we make our ressies?

Thanks in advance :Pinkbounc

I have not done the CP and dinner but we have been to Disney twice where Illuminations were at 9:00pm. I made my reservations for 7:30pm. I went to the reservations desk and asked to set outside to get a good view of Illuminations. I was reminded that this was not guaranteed but they would make a note of my request.

Both times we were sitted at 8pm with a great view! My the start of the show we had ordered dessert.

Also, both times (without kids) a child setting near us was asked to "start the show" It was a production where they point a wand (light) and say start the show.

I believe that during December, they run Illuminations at 9:30 p.m. I usually try for a 7:30 ps when Illuminations is at 9, so I would try for an 8 pm if it is at 9:30.

My husband and I did that exact plan last year! I think our dinner reservations were for 7:15 or 7:30. They really don't rush you at R&C, so if you get there anytime after 7 pm, you should be fine. Enjoy! We sure did!
