Candelight Menu Question..Has anyone ever done this?

I have only done Tier 1 in the past which is Biergarten and Garden Grill but this time all we could get was San Angel. I looked at the menu and can tell already ds16 is going to have some food issues. Instead of an adult meal do you think they would give him 2 kid meals etc. or how accomodating would they be to give him something on the adult menu with saying stuff like hold the spices etc. This should be interesting. I hope he is a happy camper when we are done eating as this is costing us big $$. I also would prefer my food not spicy due to all the meds I am taking at present.

I've had no experience with how San Angelo will accomidate you but I would be surprised if they are willing to give two child menus. Can you change restaurants? I wouldn't think that a mexican restaurant would be he right place for a family with your food needs

Disney's pretty great about dealing with special diets/picky eaters/etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they couldn't come up with, say, a plain grilled chicken breast and some rice or something off the kid's menu. I have heard of other instances where this has happened. It seems very feasible.

It's not but its all they had. My ds grew up on Tex-Mex food in Texas but this is definetely not what he is used to, We have eaten there once before years ago. I guess I will just let him ask for what he wants and see if they can do it, I know he has done this at Kona before and they accomodated him.
