Cancelling

Thinking of cancelling reservation. We are going to HH with the kids between Christmas and New Years. My husband and I were going to go down since we have never gone, but now are thinking of waiting 2 more years when the kids will both be in college at that time. Have this month to make a final decision so that I can bank the points.

If you are canceling because the kids will be "home alone" I kind of get it. We took our first adult trip when my daughter was 17 and a junior in HS, it was our 20th. I worried the whole time, especially one day when we weren't able to get her on the phone until about 2 pm. Yes, she was sleeping with her earplugs in.

Didn't do that again for two years.

It's nice to have someone watching the house and pets, but who's watching them? LOL Hope it works out for you, whatever you decide.

I would keep the reservation and go. We have been to HHI with our adult kids and they loved it and want to go back. Plenty to see, especially Savana. The resort is total class.

We are going to HH with our kids 18 and 16 in December. THey love it there. We are cancelling BCV reservation for oct 31 since they are still in school.

I can't rent it out till end of September and then if no one rents it would miss my deadline to bank the points wich is September 30.

Just called to cancel reservation.

I would keep the reservation and go. We have been to HHI with our adult kids and they loved it and want to go back. Plenty to see, especially Savana. The resort is total class.

I agree. More relaxed than during the summer. The kids will love it, and so will you!
