Cancelling WoC dinner pkg?

DH is out there now and is 2nd guessing his WoC dinner pkg he has set for tomorrow night.

When we made the ressie, I don't remember them taking a CC number. Is there a penalty if he's a no-show or if he calls and cancels?

They don't take a CC and no penalty but if someone doesn't plan on keeping the reservation it would be the polite thing to call and cancel. It opens it up for someone else to get in. Or even walk in that day to the podium if you can't call ahead of time and say you won't be able to keep it. It's super easy to call up and cancel. We end up cancelling or changing at least one reservations on each trip when things change on us last minute.

You can cancel it at City Hall as well. We did this last trip, but it was the day of...no penalty.

Agree about letting the restaurant, City Hall, or the Dine Line know about the cancellation (and as early as possible so someone else can take the availability). CMs are so grateful when you let them know, rather than just not show up.

Also, depending on the restaurant he can simply tell them he doesn't want the WoC package and keep his dining reservation. I believe this would only be possible at CCTR but it may be possible to make the change at WCT as well.
