I think they just put the kabosh on the two browser method.

That will happen if you search for anything while holding the reservation. You need to have the cancellation queued up and ready to take action.

Thanks supersnoop; I think the issue was with the "system unavailable" error I received when trying to cancel the existing ressie. Your instructions are spot on and I appreciate your time to share the details.

I've modified 4 reservations in the last two days with no issues and no "system unavailable" messages. The system definitely works!
