Cancelling our Disney trip

I just found out this morning, that I'm expecting our 4th child - although I'm thrilled that we conceived him without clomid, my "baby" is just 9 months old - I have two older boys 6 & 4.

So now, we're not going to Disney in October as planned, but going there on vacation is gonna be a lot tougher now with 4 kids - getting an extra room and all.

You'll need a two bedroom villa at one of the DVC resorts I think The good news is the baby will be 18 months when the new baby is born, so not all that close together in age really.... I have a friend with 14 month old twins & she's due in just two months, OOPS

Congrats! I have four kids and it´s great! We´ve even managed 3 Disney trips in 3 years (WDW, DLP and DL)!!!

CONGRATS! I've got 6 kids and we usually rent a house about 3 minutes from the park. I'm not sure if your into that - but it works great for us...and the houses are HUGE. Congratulations again on #4!

Congratulations on #4 I can understand your trepidation--my last two are 24 months apart and I was concerned. It wasn't as bad as i thought, but it was hard--sibling rivalry was a little bit of a problem for awhile. Now that they are older, they are great friends.

I'm with you; i'd cancel the WDW trip and try again when the littlest are older. No reason to make things hard on yourself. We took our first child(an only for a long time) when he was 3 and 4--it was fun, but a lot of work. We didn't go with DD until she was 8yo and she lost none of the "magic" and she had the stamina to go all day. Two years later we took her little bro, also 8 at the time and he loved it!

Now my kids are 19, 12, & 10 and they can't wait to go to WDW in the fall.(We cancelled our 2005 trip due to Hurricane Katrina)

Thats just great cheerio! We are 34 weeks prego with our 4th and just yesterday we were diving near the airport and the plains were taking off/landing and hubby and I are like wouldnt it be nice to be on one of those plains going to hawaiii or disney ...then we laughed knowing vacations wont ever be the same again.......no more one room hotel suites, breaking up and taking older 2 kids on one ride and youngest waiting with other parent,etc. We have now outnumbered ourselves!!!!!! Congrats on having to cancel your trip!

My girls are less than a year apart, and 5 years later I can finally say I wouldn't have done it any other way. Although the baby years were very hard, things are smooth now, and they are best of friends.

Thanks everyone My oldest 2 are 22mos apart and I found it easy, but then I just had 2 of them to deal with Maybe we can go this spring for a quick visit, not that I can do the rides now

Congratulations. But it isn't too bad going on vacation with 4 kids. I'm one of 8 kids and I have no idea how my parents have managed going to Disney all these years!
