Cancelling DDP

We leave for WDW on Friday 1/18. We have had a slight change of plans. There was 4 people traveling in our party staying in 1 room at SSR. I need to inform MS that now there will only be 3 people staying due to an unforseen incident. We were all on the DDP. Is there a penalty for cancelling the DDP for the 4th person that will not be going now? I know we are ok on our ressies becasue we are not changing room size just who's in the room but I don't know how cancelling the DDP works.

Call member services so they can note that you are now a party of three and let them know if you want to cancel the DDP or just have the number adjusted with your reservation. Since you do not pay for DDP until you check in there should not be a penalty.
