Cancelling Christmas Reservation

I will be canceling a reservation for two campsites on Monday, November 26. The reserved dates are from December 15 to December 30, 2007. We are unable to go due to the health of my aunt. Her cancer has returned and we cannot leave her alone at this time. Enjoy your holidays! I hope this cancellation can be used by somebody.

Sorry to hear of your situation and give your DA our best and she will be in our prayers.

We need to pickup ressies for 29, 30 and 31 in a full hook-up pet loop and if you have ressies that meets those needs can you PM me when you might call on the 26th and I would be even willing to call you just before you call so I can be on the phone and try and steal a couple of your days specifically the 29th and 30th.

DW will make the ressies so I have to give credit here.

So sorry to hear about your DA. I will send up a little prayer for her. I hope you do get to take your trip soon, however.

Thanks DW is calling now. Don't know how long it takes for a canx to show up, but hey anything is better than nothing. This will be amazing if this works. If it does I will post back here.

I've heard that all cancellations go back into the system during the nighttime hours.

That's what we plan on doing every day now and the CR CM actually recommended that.

Well this A.M. the system was down, but DW kept trying every 30 min and we did pick up 31 Dec we now have 4 separate ressies, 16 to 24 Dec (one rate), 24 to 29 Dec(another rate), 1-25 Jan (another rate) and a single day 31 Dec (same rate as 24 to 29) Couldn't like to this one for 31 Dec because we are still
missing 29 and 30. So we'll just keep picking away at it and hopefully we can get all the days and not have to move campsites .

We do too since our youngest is flying in from Ca to join us from 23 Dec till 6 Jan with his brother and wife coming too from Ca from 2 to 13 Jan and while we have ressies for the KOA, would prefer not to leave WDW even for a day while either of them are there and even if I were to have to do some site hopping I could even live with that. That would only take a couple of hours. I was not looking forward to doing the Ft. Summit KOA to WDW drive thing since we have to take care of two dogs so that would have been a real hassle. If it was just us two then we would have just skipped WDW for those three days, but only seeing our sons every couple of years sort of makes time spent with them important.

I feel we will pick up the days since between now and the 24th or so which I think would be the cut off for anyone cancelling w/o a penalty a good possibility.
