cancelling ADR's

For all of you experienced ADR believers... I have 2 ADR's for this trip, but I don't know that we will use them. Neither are guaranteed with a credit card, so my question is this... Do I have to cancel them ahead of time? I hate to do that now, we leave in 10 days. Last year, we didn't have any... we are pretty spontaneous with our dining plans, depending on what we are doing. But I would like to keep these for now, if thats possible, and see what happens. I would never just not show up, but maybe wouldn't cancel until that day or something. I just don't want to let them go and regret it.

You dont have to cancel them ahead of time, the WDW dining police are not going to hunt you down and make you eat there. As a comman courtesy if I change my mind that morning I do call and cancel it from my resort, that way another guest can snag the ADR if they want it.
