do we just call the front desk of our resort or call Disney dining thru our resort phone via the 1-800# (or a number they have listed there).

we have 1 or 2 that we may just opt out of and do counter service so that we can have more time in the park but right now we're still not positive what we're doing.

We don't have extras booked, just the ones we're alloted for on the dining plan so we're unsure if we want to use them or trade.

How do we cancel once we've left home if we decide to cancel? :rolleyes1

At the Pop Century, there was a button on the phone that I pressed and it speed-dialed me into the reservation line. I cancelled a reservation for one night and added another with no problems. You can always call the 1-800 number also, but it is a free call from the resorts.

You can call from your room phone using the dining button or call 1-407-WDW-Dine (not an 800 number) from any phone. I believe you can also stop at any restaurant podium and they can take care of it for you. We cancelled several of our ADRs this week because we were always changing plans, and they always expressed thanks for cancelling because so many people just don't show up.

Sorry - I edited this to change the number from an 800 to 407 as I must have been in a dream world when I posted that.

You can also call from pay phones from the parks. I believe it is something like *88 (it used to be, not sure if this changed), that connects you right to dining. Was convenient then, now I have WDW dining in my phone book on my cell, LOL!! :lmao:

This is good to know, I also will try to make some changes while at WDW. BTW, I never knew there was an 800#, I have been running up my phone bill calling (407)WDW-DINE!

Thanks!!

I thought I remembered reading there was a button on your phone to push at the resorts but I wanted to make sure.

I'm making notes of everthing now............4 days out...ugh.

there is a button on your resort phone, it says "dining" :thumbsup2

If not going do cancel and let others that want to go be able to go.

Last week, we just dialed "55" from our resort phone at the CR.

In addition to calling WDW-DINE and calling from your room, you can also stop by the guest services desk at your resort and at any of the parks. We ended up cancelling one ADR through the guests services desk at AK because it was faster than calling on our cell phone!
