Just wondering if you're able to cancel a shore excursion which was booked online? I've been looking everywhere and all I can find is where it states they are non refundable and will be charged directly to your shipboard account. I thought you could cancel up to 3 days prior?

Can someone please verify?

Thanks!

I am not sure where to go on the site but I have done it before BUT when you do it make a print of your cancelation page - I had cancelled but when we got on the ship they did not show it cancelled. It was one for Castaway Cay so they worked with us but it was our word against theirs and next time I will have proof because it might not be something easy to find others to fill our spot.

You can cancel online 3 days prior to getting on the ship. Once you are on the ship, your tickets are printed and it is very hard to cancel an excursion. We had 7 in our party for Tulum, and they encouraged 5 to rebook another excursion, and only let the two oldest cancel without penalty.
Its 3 days prior to sailing, not 3 days prior to the excursion date.

You should be able to go to the same section of the DCL web site where you booked your excursion and cancel it. As Krisann said, print out the cancel page!

Or, if you used a TA ask them to do this for you--that way you have their word as well that it was canceled. As above, the cancellation policy is 3 days before embarkation.

Thank you, everyone!

I was worried to go ahead and make a booking and then not be allowed to cancel. Good to know it's three days ahead!
